Cairo's Court of Urgent Matters rejected today an appeal by the lawyer of the Muslim Brotherhood to unban the group and all its activities.
The Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt's oldest and most influential Islamist group, was banned in September after President Mohamed Morsy was toppled by the army following mass protests against his government on July 3.
