Father Poulos Fahmy, priest of St. Peter Catholic Church in Beni Suef, said that demolishing and burning the historical convent school in Beni Suef is but a severe loss for Egypt.
He added that this school was also a nunnery that was built more than 115 years ago and contained valuables antiques and icons.
