Why Morsy’s picture is in Al-Aqsa Mosque?
Picture of the ousted president Mohamed Morsy hanged on Al-Aqsa Mosque during Friday prayers in Jerusalem should have raised the anger and resentment of the Palestinians. Furthermore, what a shame to hang this picture of an ousted president that his people overthrew in such a holy place!

This accident showed they don’t really care about the holy and historical place in the middle of Palestine that has nothing to do with politics.

Such provocative act is indeed far from the Islamic values and reveals the intentions and goals of those who trade on religion. It is but a desperate attempt to get Al-Aqsa and the Palestinian people involved in a political conflict in Egypt, leading to a greater conflict between the Egyptians and the Palestinians, and lending a helping hand to the obnoxious racist Israeli occupation.

Those who hanged Morsy’s picture at Al-Aqsa Mosque would never change the mind of the Egyptians by such act. Millions of those Egyptians have demonstrated against this president who divided the Egyptian people and claiming they represent God.

Our people have refused to interfere in the Palestinian internal issues, as well as all attempts to trade on religion to achieve political interests.

Therefore, we condemn this act of trading on religion that causes more division among the Muslims by using this Holy Mosque that should be dedicated for prayers rather than political conflicts.
