Copts between the hammer of the Maspero massacre and the anvil of Morsi

I saw the reactions of some angry Coptic youth after the Church had expressed her high estimate for the the military institution. This happened after the announcement of Defense Minister in which he promised to support the will of the people and refuse insulating the army.

I understand how they feel as I remember Maspero massacare where the army forces had killed our children. In fact, current and former leaders of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces are responsible for this massacare, but have never been judged for it.

I want to assure that the Church's leadership can not wavier the rights of 27 martyrs and dozens of injuries among her children. Christianity teaches us to wavier our personal rights, but not the rights of our martyrs whom killers are free. We should file a lawsuit before an international court as we will get nothing from a local one. Therefore, a message of respect to the army never means wavier the rights of our martyrs.

In fact, our demands to condemn those responsible for killing our sons at Maspero massacare don't mean to have bad relationships with the Egyptian army, but to cleanse such stain in the history of the decent Egyptian Army. We should differentiate between the great military and some bad people among its leaders. As a Coptic Christian Egyptian citizen, I would never have something against the military of my own country. However, our demands to judge those bad leaders aim to cleanse the Egyptian army from those who ordered the armored vehicles to crush the peaceful Coptic demonstrators at Maspero.

It's really important that all Egyptians realize that they have to unite with their army and police in order to get rid of the Brotherhood's occupation to Egypt and to get the rights of all our martyrs since the beginning of the revolution.

During the investigations with Father Mettias and me, we watched a movie showing civilians attacking the army, whom are likely to belong to the fanatics that govern Egypt right now. Together with the army, we can punish the criminals in power. Only then, we can revenge to the blood of our pure youth who were killed and not revenged for. I believe June 30 is the date when God will avenge for those innocent people who were killed in Maspero, Mohamed Mahmoud, the Council of Ministers, Port Said and Rafah.
