Zaki: Copts are neither a herd nor one bloc

Dr. Andrea Zaki, Vice-President of the Evangelical Communion, said that the idea of the Egyptian Council of Churches has started three years ago in Cyprus, and it aims to unite the Egyptian Churches, yet respects their privacy, and it has nothing to do with politics.

 

He added that the state has used to deal with the Copts as one bloc, which is wrong, as Copts are not one herd to be directed by the church at the elections.
