I was tormented upon hearing of the trafedy at the Sandy Hook Elementary School of Newtown, Connecticut that culminated in the death of innocent young children, their courageous educators, and the suffering of an entire community and nation. Faith assures us that their innocence will lead them righteously before our Divine Father. I convey the condolences of the Coptic Orthodox Church in Egypt and worldwide to each and every person affected by this tragedy. We pray for the victims, their families, and the whole community that amid pain and despair, Peace, Hope and Love will prevail
