Heads of Egyptian Churches to meet on Constitution

Abba John Kolta, Vicar of the Copts Catholics, and Dr. Safwat al-Bayaadi, head of the Anglican Communion, have attended the meeting in St. Mark Cathedral in Abbassya with Abba Pachomious, Acting Patriarch, and a number of Jurists and consultants in the General Congregation Council to discuss the decision of withdrawal from constituent committee of the constitution along with all civil currents.

 

It's worth mentioning that constituent committee may vote on the final draft of the constitution, which imposes the religious version of the Egyptian state.
