Al-Ahram official newspaper: a deacon was to be a priest, but converts to Islam!

Al-Ahram official newspaper has published a story of a deacon who has converted to Islam. It claimed that this deacon was about to be the priest of a famous church in Cairo.

Refaat Fekry, head ot the Media and Publishing committee in Evangelica Synod said that it's something really private to choose one's religion, and I don't know how come a famous and official newspaper like Al-Ahram may commit such mistake, especially at that time!
