Father Philopatir Gameel: Egyptian judiciary is lifeless and had a military funeral

During a conference held by Youth of Maspero Union, and entitled “Judiciary sacrifices Christians”, father Philopatir Gamil, priest of St. Mary Church and St. Mark in Faisal said that Egyptian judiciary is lifeless and had a military funeral. About the case of Maspero, he said that the real culprit is either General Hamdy Badien, or General Hassan al-Ruwaini. Gamil asked the Church to abandon the customary sessions and work the law, however the judges of Egypt are longing to use the Islamic law as announced by Judge Ahmed al-Zand! 

In his word, Kamal Zakher, the political thinker, said that we have to get out of the quagmire of sectarian to demand the rights of Copts as Egyptians. Zakher pointed out that politics has recently affected the judiciary a lot. He said that we are facing a big problem of not having equality. Zakher demanded the issuing of a unified law for worship houses
