The diocese of Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and West Virginia celebrated Archangel Michael’s Day yesterday, when HG Bishop Karas of the Diocese, prayed the feast Mass at the Church of Our Lady and the Martyr Mercurius (the seat of the Archdiocese), with the participation of HG Anba David, Bishop of New York and New England and the Papal deputy of New Jersey, and the priests of the diocese.
During the celebration, Engineer Sherine Saad was ordained a general priest at the diocese and his new name was called Michael. The priest will spend 40 days of spiritual retreat at the monastery of St. Moses in the Texas desert.
