His Holiness Pope Tawadros II received Bishop Daniel of Maadi and Secretary of the Holy Synod, and Anba Julius, General Bishop of the Churches Sector of Old Cairo and Supervisor of the Bishopric of Services.
Father Poulos Halim, spokesman for the Coptic Orthodox Church, said that several issues were discussed during the meeting, including the proposals submitted by some of the churchs bishops regarding the date of the next meeting of the Holy Synod, the preparation of episcopal ordinances, in addition to several other issues related to service arrangements in the coming period
