Egyptian Football Association announced on Thursday that the semifinal games of Egypt Cup will start on Sunday, as Zamalek meets Ittihad while Petrojet await the winner from Pyramdis FC s match against Haras El-Hodoud.
Zamalek booked their seat in the semis after defeating Maqassa 1-0 on Wednesday, to face Ittihad which qualified after beating Ismaily 3-1 last May, on Sunday at 20:00 Cairo local time (GMT+2) at Ismailia stadium, according to a statement published on EFA s official Facebook page.
Earlier this month Pyramids defeated Ahly 1-0 in the round of 16 in the postponed game for many times due to Ahly s participation in the African Champions League.
Pyramids are scheduled to face Haras El-Hodoud in the quarterfinal of Egypt s Cup on Friday, and the winner will play in the semifinal on Monday against Petrojet at Petrosport stadium on Monday at 20:00 Cairo local time (GMT+2).
