His Holiness Pope Tawadros II issued a decision today to assign Bishop Daniel, head of St. Paula monastery in the Red Sea as a papal Vicariate of the Red Sea after the death of its bishop Abba Theofilis.
The funeral of the late bishop was held today at St. Peter Church in Abbaisa in the presence of many clergy from the diocese.
