Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark See, said that those who carry out terrorist attacks in the name of Islam distort the image of Islam through their misconceptions.
He added that it is the responsibility of the religious institutions to confront such misunderstanding that affect the community and the religion so badly.
This came during the press conference held in Hilton Kuwait yesterday in his official visit to Kuwait.
