Ibrahim Eissa and crosses of churches

The TV show of Journalist Ibrahim Eissa was stopped on Al-Kahera Wal-Nas private television on January 1st, 2017. Eissa said that the time is inconvenience for the program.

Couple of weeks ago, the Egyptian House of Representatives denounced the show considering it working against the state as claimed by Dr. Ali Abdul Al, head of the Egyptian Parliament. Abdul Al accused Eissa of inciting violence and public disorder after he said that the new draft of the law of building churches states that no crosses should be put on new churches. Abdul Al forgot that the lack of information about the law at that time caused a lot of flounder in media.

Abdul Al forgot that transparency of the government is the only way to avoid tribulations and rumors. However, the government should have sent clarification to media, but it hasn’t. The case often is not related to the crosses, but to Eissa and his show since he doesn’t flatter the regime like other shows. Therefore, the government decided to accuse the man of being responsible for its failure, the increasing prices, medicine shortage, and the deteriorating services.

Eissa had to resign after he refused to flatter the government and accuse the people of being responsible for their suffering because they are lazy. He had to flatter the officials whose extravagance and opulence exceeded all levels while they demand the people to practice austerity!

Ibrahim Eissa believes that governor of the central bank is responsible for the economic deterioration and the floating of the Egyptian Pound that we pay its price every single day.

The problem is that Eissa’s voice is no longer tolerable by the regime. Head of the Egyptian Parliament attacked Eissa and his channel. The owner of the channel has visited Abdul Al for three hours, and should have received warning to shut down the channel. Therefore, Eissa decided to withdraw instead of closing the channel.

Those who preferred to make Eissa shut up should have understood that he was helping the regime by releasing the anger of the people instead of the potential explosion caused by lack of freedoms and the suffering of people that provides a suitable environment for the success of conspiracies against our nation.
