Egyptian parliamentarians are signing a draft law criminalizes Armenian Genocide during the Ottoman Empire in Turkey. The Signature came in light of Egypt’s actions against Turkey as two countries have strained relations since the ouster of former President Morsi, Turkey’s ally.
“The high turnout of representatives to sign a draft law is an attempt to stop Turkey from intervening in the internal affairs of our country,” Youm7 reported lawmaker Fayza Barakat Monday.
