Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said during an hour of questions in the Knesset that Egypt is the most important and serious ally we have in the Middle East and among Arab states.
He added, "I invested a lot of effort in building trust and cooperative relations. The starting point of our agreement with Turkey has to be Egypt.”
