Dr. Rev. Andrea Zaki, head of the Anglican Communion in Egypt, said the General Council of the Evangelical Church decided to reject the civil marriage and refused to add extra reasons for divorce rather than adultery and changing religion.
The causes of nullity of marriage remain the same and new articles of inheritance and adoption were added.
