Egypt documents collectibles from Jewish synagogues

 
The Antiquities Ministry initiated a plan to document collectibles from Jewish synagogues throughout Egypt, Youm7 reported. The committee tasked with the documentation announced it has already registered over 95 artifacts in three synagogues surveyed so far.

Egypt’s renowned archaeologist Zahi Hawas submitted a request to the head of the culture, media and antiquities committee at the House of Representatives demanding the ratification of a draft bill to   establish a syndicate for the country’s archaeologists.
 
Mulaweya troupe to perform at Bibliotheca Alexandrina June 12
 
The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) announced it will host a show for the Mulaweya troupe for religious chants on Sunday June 12, according to Youm7. The show will be performed at the BA’s Arts Center. Tickets range from 40 EGP ($4.50) to 55 EGP.
 
Al Ahly SC to build a $10m-worth museum 
 
Al Ahly SC initiated a project to establish a museum for the more than century-old club. The museum will be built in the club’s branch located in 6 October City, Sheikh Zayed, Youm7 reported.
