The Ismailia Criminal Court resumed Monday a trial session of Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Mohamed Badie and 104 other co-defendants in the case known as the “Ismailia incidents,” Youm7 reported.
The defendants face charges of inciting violence, disturbing the peace and sabotaging public properties following the ouster of former President Mohamed Morsi in July 2013.
This case dates from July 5, 2013 when clashes erupted between supporters of Mohamed Morsi and security forces in front of the Ismailia Governorate building; three were killed and dozens injured in the clashes.
