Egyptian women featured in Google video celebrations of International Women's Day

For this year’s International Women’s Day, we wanted to celebrate the Doodle-worthy women of the future. So we gathered our cameras and pencils and visited 13 countries where we spoke to 337 women and girls and asked them to complete the sentence, “One day I will…” From toddlers to grandmothers, the women in San Francisco, Rio de Janeiro, Mexico City, Lagos, Moscow, Cairo, Berlin, London, Paris, Jakarta, Bangkok, New Delhi and Tokyo all sparkled with personality. Each new city brought more “One day I will”s, more signature dance moves, more hugs, more high-fives," Google's statement reads.

Celebrating the International Women's Day, Google posted a video that focuses on women of the future. The doodle is viewable all across the world.

"One day I will be the president of the country," says an Egyptian woman standing in front of the Giza Pyramids, being one in the series of many women featured in Google new video Doodle.

Creators of the doodle are Lydia Nichols, Helene Leroux, and Liat Ben-Rafael with music by Merrill Garbus (tUnE-yArDs).

Google also posted a series of videos which reveal the process of making consecutive segments of the Doodle. The films are accessible on Google's website or on YouTube.

The video documenting the shooting process in Cairo is titled "#OneDayIWill in Cairo: 2016" and was released on Google Arabia Youtube channel. According to Google, 58 Egyptian women participted in the project, from children to older women.
