Maspero Youth Union said in a statement that state institutions are currently working against promises of the president to respect citizenship and renounce sectarianism. Maspero Youth Union said in a statement that state institutions are currently working against promises of the president to respect citizenship and renounce sectarianism. 

The union urged the president and the parliament to find solution to the crisis of 4 children in Beni Mazar who were sentenced to five years in prison, and to establish a Ministry of Citizenship to put an end to all aspects of discrimination in the Egyptian society.
 
Statement added that such ruling comes to coincide with the anniversary of the martyrdom of 21 Christians by ISIS in Libya, as if the children are offered another sacrifice for the terrorist organization of ISIS after the martyrs in Libya.
 
Statement added that some judges want the Egyptians to believe that ISIS represents Islam. Citizenship in Egypt has been affected badly by several incidents and court rulings.
