Coptic activist Ezzat Ibrahim called to carry out an investigation and discharge the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Minya in case he was proven guilty in discharging a Christian principal of a school following demands of dozens of Muslim students.
Dozens of students had held sit-in in Beni Mazar secondary school demanding the discharge of the new Coptic Christian principal Mirvat Sefin. Yet, Ramadan Abdul Hamid promised to fulfill their demands.
