“The results of this report that will reveal the volume and the scope of additional security measures to be taken if necessary,” said Okulov.

Last week, a delegation from the Russian Aviation Authority (RAA) arrived in Cairo to study security measures at the Cairo International Airport, head of EgyptAir security sector Tarek Zaky was quoted by Al Ahram.

Russia suspended its air service with Egypt following the crash of a Russian airliner over Sinai in late October 2015, that killed all 224 passengers and crew. The Islamic State group took responsibility for the crash, claiming it had planted a bomb onboard.

An international investigation team has yet to announce the cause of the crash.

Earlier this month, security sector at EgyptAir has successfully passed the U.S.-based Transportation Security Administration (TSA) testing program.

In Dec., EgyptAir Cargo company successfully passed the European Union test on security requirements for incoming air cargo EU ACC3.
