The suspects have been accused of inciting riots, violence and disturbing the public order, besides belonging to an outlawed group.

A total of 28 convicts, allegedly belong to the banned Muslim Brotherhood group, were sentenced Saturday to 5 years in prison over charges of inciting violence and burning electricity transformers in Delta’s Sharqia governorate , Youm7 reported.

Hundreds of MB members and supporters were detained and given different sentences of imprisonments and death over charges of killing, inciting violence, attacking public prosperities, illegal protesting, and belonging to banned group. Others MB members and supporters fled Egypt abroad.
