The Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Melbourne issued a statement today to reveal facts about the attack on the church there.
Statement said that on Tuesday the 13th of October 2015, at approximately 6.00 pm, an unknown male attended at the Coptic Orthodox Diocese Headquarters of Melbourne and attempted to cause serious damage to the property.
It added that this person is unknown, along with his ethnicity and organ. No explosion or fire occurred, and no person was hurt or injured in any way. His grace Bishop Suriel and all those in attendance at the time are safe and well.
Police were reported and the matter is currently under investigation.
