Rabaa and Maspero
In my program, I hosted with great pride two honored guests:  Atef Nazmi, lawyer of the martyrs of Maspero, and my friend Isaac Ibrahim, human rights activist and member of the Egyptian initiative. I found myself comparing between the treatment of the international organizations to the victims of the two accidents in Rabaa Adawia and in Maspero. However, I am sorry for conducting such comparison between those who demonstrated peacefully demanding freedom and equality, and those who carried weapons and incited violence. They even refused to evacuate the place ignoring all warnings of the security forces.

Their violence made them enemies that should be fought and confronted firmly. They lost patriotism as well as humanity when they killed and tortured Egyptian citizens, just for being near the sit-in thinking they belong to security forces.

However, I read yesterday an article to Ahmed El Sawy at the Liberation newspaper, in which he compares between the two parties. He said that the only difference is the motivation between those who seek freedom and those who seek power. This is indeed a difference, but it’s not the only one as I mentioning above.

May God comfort families of the martyrs and punish those who killed our children. Yet, criminals should stand trial in order to seek justice.
