Nader Serafy, founder of Copts 38 association and member of al-Nour ultra conservative party, denied the party is religious one assuring it’s a political party.
He also refused statements by Pope Tawadros II in which he invited Coptic members of the religious based parties to reconsider the matter. Nader added that the church hasn’t prevented them from joining the party at the first place.
