Sohag Criminal Court sentenced 26 accused of burning St. George Church in Suhag to life imprisonment, 67 defendants to 15 years in prison and 26 defendants were sentenced to 10 years.
The attacks came on August 2013 after the dispersal of Rabaa Adawia and Nahda sit-ins. The accused attacked several public and private properties and set the church of St. George on fire.
