Abba Daniel, Bishop of Maadi and head of the Clerical Council in Cairo, announced that the three Coptic churches have received the last modifications of the New Personal status law for Christians.He added that there is consultation and negotiation between the representatives of the churches in this matter in preparation for its adoption in the next parliament.
Meanwhile, Justice Ministry has rejected child adoption because it violates the Islamic Sharia.
