We love the Easter as it reminds us of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and the joys of victory over death. It brings us a great deal of optimism and hope in a bright future for Egypt and the Coptic Church.
Egyptians have been suffering for four years under the ruling of extremists, but thanks to God that we have overcame such dark phase soon.
Now the Coptic Christians are even more patriot to their country and have stronger faith that God will always intervene for our good.
At the Easter, I congratulate His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark See, the archbishops and bishops of the Coptic Orthodox Church as well as all Christian leaders, wishing them a happy Easter. I also pray to God that He may intervene and help His people at such significant moment of Egyptian modern history.
