Maged Wadie, head of Saving the Egyptian Heritage Society, filed petition in court to prevent Wadi Rayan highway project that penetrates a Coptic monastery and threatens several antiquities in that area.
He added he will hold a press conference on Tuesday to reveal several facts about the case that exceeded the problem of a monastery to threaten our heritage.
He explained that there is no reason for insisting on building that road in that area when there are other ways with less cost and destruction.
