As I write this article, the third and final day of the economic conference hosted at Sharm El-Sheikh is on. I can not write and follow the latest news so my comments mostly are on my prior days’ observations.Fears turned to JOY
Over the years for some unknown reason to me Friday the 13th means BAD LUCK, I recall a full series of movies long time ago by the same name “Friday the 13th” I saw them all over and over again on Halloween times TV would broadcast them over and over with other scary movies but Friday the 13th was the No. 1 always!
I’m not the kind of guys that believe in bad luck get scared from black cats or passing under a ladder and other superstitious ridiculous Ideas however, my mother –R.I.P. - was and by habit not believe I might avoid certain acts however I was always sceptical about this Friday the 13th but never ever prevented me from travelling or even takings hi risks moreover many times after the hi risk event is over I realised that this was on a Friday the 13th!
I’ll not lie with the current security status, the war with Terror and the bombs that keep blowing every now and then in several parts of Egypt and the date chosen for that conference I was sceptical I even feared it might turn into a tragedy if a hi profile guest of the conference gets hurt and might drug Egypt into further troubles! The assurance the president said and mentioned the conference will be held on time was not enough to erase my fears!
The un-expected happened
In my wildest dreams I could not dream to see in the opening statements such a demonstration of love and respect to Egypt and the Egyptians! Leaders compete to give their support to our elected president and beloved country! I was really astonished! I was planning to start like always writing my weekly article on Friday end it on Saturday then review it before sending it to be published on Sunday but the events took me I could not either start to write on Saturday that turned to a joyful day following the exiting news of this Egypt the Future conference not believing what I hear! Milliards of dollars flow in to Egypt paving its way to the future, even poor countries that could not afford financial support they were generous with their loving support, they made me feel for the second time within weeks proud of Egypt and being Egyptian our president is a real Egyptian who have faith in Egypt’s future as a leading country he said it always Egypt worth the world! So once again to the president Abd El-Fatah El-Sisi I say thank you for being a loving president to our country Egypt!
The Future Egypt
Let aside this joy is over we have to think twice and keep moving! This fortune that come with the conference and the loving support of lovers is not all just a gift, it is invests as well that is partnership with the business man injecting cash we inject services, resources, manpower you name it! Business men complained numerous times of the bureaucratic services, we need a revolution over the bureaucracy. The boss is there for accountability not to avoid it using obstacles to overload other with responsibilities belong to him!
Stamp duties, form 1 and form 2 and… should disappear a fee collectible with a receipt could replace those stamp duties and save the money and time spend to issue stamps and design and print them those efforts could be used elsewhere! Form 1 and 2 and… should be replaced with the original request presented by the applicant any request of any type could be replaced by a blank piece of paper you write on it you’re your request if more information is needed this same paper can hold it like your address or theway to contact you or any other info and the authorisation could be signed in this same paper or request!
We can save a lot of time, money and efforts in bureaucracy for better production and results we do not need the minister to solve each and every problem we can save his time for more important issues.
To all the Egyptians I say: Now is the time to make our president proud of us like he made us proud of him! We must prove to the world that Egypt that has the resources has as well the will to prove to the world that we deserve this love and we can be much better than what they expects us to be. The time has come to resume our leadership role that had been put to a stop by the enemies of this country the enemies of civilization the enemies of humanity and well being the time has come to prove to the world that the power of LOVE rules and will overcome the love of power.
In this very same day in Europe it is the “Mother Day” next week on Mars 21st will be in Egypt as well so I seize the opportunity to wish to our mother “Egypt” a happy mother’s day and to each mother in the world as well a happy mothers’ day obviously to my own mother that lives still within me.
May God keep blessing Egypt and Egyptians it’s his blessings –God’s Blessings- that made Egypt and Egyptians be loved so much by the world, So Thank You God and keep your blessings upon us Peace of the lord be with you all.
