Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has called on the Security Council to adopt a resolution of international intervention in Libya, especially after the security situation became a threat to the national security of the surrounding countries, including European and Arab countries.
Egypt had conducted an airstrike against terrorist organizations in Libya on Monday in retaliation for the beheading of 21 Egyptian Christians by a local franchise of the Islamic State.
