The Cairo Criminal Court decided Sunday to adjourn to Nov. 9 the trial of Mohamed Badie, the supreme guide of the Muslim Brotherhood, and 16 other defendants in the case known as the “Guidance Office incidents.”Sunday’s hearing, held at the Institute of Police Trustees, was postponed to continue listening to pleas.
The defendants are charged with killing nine people and injuring 91 others in front of the Muslim Brotherhood headquarters in March 2013, joining a militant group, possessing unlicensed weapons and conspiring to incite violence.
