Egypt 2 Satellite takes off from Baikonur Cosmodrome

The Egypt Sat 2 satellite was launched into orbit on Wednesday night from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, Egyptian media reports. The satellite was attached to a Russian Soyuz rocket and separated eight minutes after take-off. It is for agriculture, mining, the environment, climate and weather forecasting. .
