For the first time since his enthronement, Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark See, makes Chrism oil at St. Bishoy monastery on April.
Members of the Holy Synod and many monks are going to participate in the ceremony at St. Bishoy monastery where 1000 kilograms of the Chrism oil will be made.
It’s worth mentioning that the late Pope Shenouda III had made the Christ oil 8 times during his papacy.
