Dr. Safwat Bayaadi, head of the Evangelical Communion welcomed the decision to ordain women as priests for the first time in the Egyptian Churches.
He explained that God doesn’t differentiate between men and women at many jobs including priesthood.
As the state grants women many rights at the constitution, we can’t take such right away from women in Christianity, Bayaadi added.
