CAIRO: A number of students affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) besieged the building of the Supreme Council of Universities, demanding the cancellation of an article related to combating terrorism that the council recently passed.
They also called for the release of their colleagues, who were imprisoned after being arrested during their demonstrations.
Administrative security forces closed the gates of the council to prevent the students from storming it. The students chanted against the military and security forces, in addition to the members of the Supreme Council of Universities.
