Egyptian writer Farida Shobashy demanded today to ban the Islamic headscarf in Egypt after a woman wearing niqab had killed a taxi driver who tried to get through a demonstration of the Muslim Brotherhood in Mansoura.
The man was killed after the veiled woman had stabbed in the neck.
Shobashy said that if this woman has freedom to wear the burqa and niqab, we should be able to recognize our murderers.
