Court adjourns Mubarak, former officials retrial on protesters killing to January

Cairo Criminal Court postponed on Sunday retrial of toppled President Hosni Mubarak, his sons Alaa and Gamal, former Interior Minister Habib al-Adly and six of his top deputies on charges of killing protesters during the 25 January revolution and financial corruption to 11,12, 13 January.

Court decided to summon Mohamed Ahmed Farid al-Tohamy, former chief of Administrative Control Authority, Major General Khaled Tharwat, former chief of national security agency and journalist Ibrahim Eissa to testify.
 
The court also decided to conduct interrogations with Al-Akhbar newspaper for breaking the gag order.
 
The court heard earlier on Sunday the testimony of Sami Anan, former chief of staff of the  Armed Forces, as well as Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, former Defense Minister, on Saturday in a secret session.
 
The court discussed with Tantawi the situation in Egypt before, during, and after January 25 for over three hours.
