CAIRO: Egypt has officially signed the UN convention on deporting foreigners who are convicted of terrorism or in corruption cases to their countries, said a judicial source from the International Cooperation Sector of Egypt’s Ministry of Justice on Thursday.
The source told Youm7 that bilateral agreements have basic principles of not delivering any accused Egyptian to any country, in case the suspect committed a crime abroad then fled back to Egypt, but the suspect will be put on trial in Egypt.
