Three new Coptic churches are being registered in the state of Indonesia, bringing the number of Coptic churches there to five.
The service of St. Paul the Apostle, under the patronage of Father Dawood Lamie, priest of St. Mark the Apostle in Heliopolis, had registered two churches already in Indonesia: St. Cyril and St. Simon in the capital of Jakarta, and Ascension Church on the island of Sulawesi.
Three other Churches are currently being established and registered: 1- The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Marks in Surabaya (Indonesia s second largest city). 2 - Church of the Archangel Michael and St. Moses in Malang. 3 - Church of St. George and St. Nover in Kalimantan.
