Christians in Morocco claim their civil rights

As converting from Islam to Christianity is forbidden in Morocco, newly converted Christians in Morocco founded a group to claim their civil rights.

Mostafa, spokesman for the group, said they demand the right to have Christian names for their children, pray in churches and get married according to their beliefs.

Though there are no official figures for the number of Christian converts in Morocco, the US State Department estimates it to be between two thousand and six thousand.
