Israel's Radio Kol Hay has reported that President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and King Abdullah of Jordan will most likely attend the funeral of the late Israeli President Shimon Peres on Thursday.
The Tenth Israeli Channel also quoted press reports saying that Sisi and Abdallah would most likely attend the funeral.
Peres died on Wednesday at the age of 93 and his body is to be transferred on Thursday to Jerusalem where a funeral service is due to be held.
During the last year, Peres suffered several times from cardiac arrhythmia and was placed under medical observation. He also underwent surgery to expand an artery.
Peres, who was Israel's president between 2007 and 2014, had also served twice as prime minister and twice as interim prime minister. He also served as a minister 12 times over more than six decades in Israel.
In 1994, after the signing of the Oslo Accords, Peres received the Nobel Peace Prize, which he shared with former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and former Palestinian President Yasser Arafat, who had died in 1995 and 2004 respectively.
