Monks of the monastery of Wadi Rayan assert their obedience to the Pope

The monks of the Monastery of St. Macarius of Alexandria at Wadi Rayyan have sent two letters to the Pope in which they assert their obedience to the church and the Pope.

 

A statement signed by 90 monks at the monastery denounced the acts of some monks of the monastery and assured their obedience to the church and the Pope.
