Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark See, have constituted a standing committee to manage the affairs of the Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Church in between its biannual meetings.
It's worth mentioning that the Committee includes Bishops Pachomious, Rafael, Moussa and Bishoy.
Another committee was constituted for the foreign affairs under the chairmanship of Bishop Paula, Church representative in the 50-members committee to draft the 2012 constitution.
The Holy Synod is supposed to hold its biannual meeting on Nov. 21.
