I salute the Dutch Parliament

Because peoples living in the European countries are civilized, it wasn't strange that they face the racism and backwardness in Egypt by giving those Egyptians who are prosecuted the chance to manage a better life in the Netherlands.

It's really strange that they fight against religious discrimination, backwardness, ignorance and racism in Europe, while we use them desperately as tools to treat our social ailments!

Religious minority and majority should have the same rights and responsibilities. But in Egypt, Copts have suffered from several prosecutions and massacres. They are treated like slaves. The same happens with the Shiites, Baha'is, Nubians and the Bedouins of Sinai and Western Desert. Not only them, but also supporters of freedom, science and reason; not to mention women, the poor, children and animals. Violence in Egypt is even used with  trees and the environment!

All this made me happy to hear about the religious asylum granted by the Netherlands to the prosecuted Coptic Christians of Egypt.

I know that it wasn't only a political decision of the government, but rather of the Dutch Parliament that represents the people of the Netherlands. This made my feel sorry for Egypt where the government and the president are those who decide. However, I felt happy for the prosecuted Christians of Egypt as they have now a way to have a better life.

I hope all the prosecuted people of Egypt may have a similar chance, and again: congratulations for the Copts.
