Bishops of the Coptic Orthodox Church celebrated today the mass of the fortieth day for the departure of His Holiness Pope Shenouda III in St. Bishoy monastery in Wadil Natroun.
Abba Pachomius, acting patriarch who headed the mass said: true monk should be a servant learning from our master Jesus Christ without expecting a reward from anyone. He added that Pope Shenouda did his best in the pastoral care.
Mass began at 9.00 AM and lasted for two hours, and then the monastery offered a breakfast to all the attendees.
