DAMASCUS - Syrian authorities have accused an Egyptian man of spying for Israel State Syrian TV reported Saturday night.
It added that the suspect, who holds a US citizenship, had confessed of going to Israel secretly and taking photos and videos in Syria.
The man, worjing in Syria, was shown confessing on Syrian television that he had been paid for the service.
Syria has recently been rocked by demonstrations demanding drastic reforms.
